Ms. fan has the hots for The Dirty Old Man, so does Ms. Sweet if you get down to it. The Widow is gonna try to diffuse the situation because really, it's getting out of hand. The Dirty Old Man lives by his own rules. He flirts, but doesn't mean it, and says outrageous shit that we live with because it's him.
The Ladies don't know him well enough to know these things. He's attractive, single, and suggestive, so they think it's something when he says things to them. It's not.
I've known him for 20 something years, before and after his marriage, divorce, jobs, no jobs, raising his kids, he's a great guy really. He just has no desire to be in a relationship. The Ladies are just looking for "a man." I feel sorry for all of them.
